About Garvey's Gardens, LLC

Garvey's Gardens, LLC was started out of grief, when Sydney Garvey, owner and farmer-florist, lost her daughter Maeve shortly after her birth in early 2020. Sydney went to the garden to heal and ended up creating an entire flower farm, floral shop, podcast, and wedding design business that you see today! Garvey's Gardens is a proud Certified American Grown farm, and only uses Certified American Grown flowers in all wedding and retail floral arrangements. Sydney was also a member of the Certified American Grown Design Team for the 2024 First Ladie's Luncheon in Washington D.C. and helped the farmer group from Certified American Grown lobby for a day on Capitol Hill while she was there too. Sydney is excited to help further Certified American Grown's efforts to increase awareness and support for American Flower Farmers – be it within the farm community, with other wedding designers, and other florists. On the farm, Garvey's Gardens grows a massive variety of flowers that supplies the retail shop in downtown Grand Junction, Colorado, with flowers year-round thanks to bulb forcing in the winter. Some favorite varieties include zinnias, bearded iris, dahlias, lisianthus, and our extensive garden rose collection.
