On a magical Midwest evening, the Field to Vase Dinner Tour came to beautiful fields full of dahlias at Summer Dreams Farm. Taking place on Sunday, September 18, this dinner was a magical end to the summer season.
Flower farmer Michael Genovese hosted the event and both he and floral industry spokesperson and award-winning designer Derek Woodruff AIFD of Floral Underground, brought their passion for American Grown flowers to the table. Chef Carole Wendling of Nosh Events added her own creation to the evening with a delectable menu prepared using a host of local ingredients and the meal was delightfully paired with local wine from MAWBY, Two K Farms and Shady Lane Cellars.
